November will be a DVD presentation on “Fossicking at Agate Creek” It is a video log of a couple of Americans traveling into the Australian outback in Queensland to a place called agate creek where the agates are good quality and plentiful. There is lots of local color and a good view into what travel in Australia's outback is like.

The March meeting will be a Silent Auction. We will ask members to bring items to the auction. If you have lapidary items, tools, rough, or other items in your possession that you may not have the time to work on or do not use because you have upgraded, then those items are ideal for the silent auction. We need your items to make this auction a big success. Items from the recent donations will also be auctioned.
