The Tuscarora Lapidary Society is a non-profit educational corporation, and Pennsylvania Purely Public Charity, organized to encourage and teach the science and art of lapidary (the cutting and polishing of gemstones), as well as the arts and sciences associated with lapidary interests.

General Meetings. The public is welcome.

November 9, 2016: Ted Daeschler, Ph.D., of the Academy of Natural Sciences, of Drexel University will present a talk on his experiences in exploring Pa road cuts in search of Devonian fish.  Fossilized of course.

December 14, 2016: December will be the TLS general meeting and elections followed by the annual holiday celebration.

Weekend Lapidary Workshops - Cabochons. TLS is partnering again with Main Line School Night to offer our basic cabochon cutting and polishing course at the TLS Education Center in a weekend workshop format. Our fall weekend cabochon workshop is scheduled for October 22-23 (MLSN course number HC61007). Registration is through Main Line School Night. Click HERE for the MLSN website. Then click on "Browse Courses by Topic". At the top of that new page, enter HC61007 into the Search box, and click on Search. That will take you to the registration page for our workshop.
