Visitors are always welcome -- just walk in and introduce yourself. A special program, an auction, or presentation on lapidary or related topics follows a brief business meeting.
The Society holds a dinner meeting and awards presentation once per year in June at a local restaurant. There are no meetings in July and August.
If a meeting has to be cancelled due to the weather, a message to that effect should be available on 610-490-5252 by 4 PM on the meeting date.
February 13: A DVD titled The Gem Hunter in Afghanistan by collector Gary Bowersox, who travels the world exploring mines, will be shown. In 2001, he traveled into the Hindu Kush Mountains to find the oldest mine on earth. (This meeting was canceled due to concerns about the weather. The DVD may be shown at a later date.)
March 13: The program will be a Silent Auction of lapidary tools, rough and other items.
April 10: Karenne Snow, co-author of Gem Trails of Pennsylvania & New Jersey, will give a talk on minerals.
May 8: The program will be a Silent Auction of lapidary tools, rough and other items.
