TLS Open House and DelcoGives

DelcoGives Day, sponsored by the Foundation of Delaware County, is a 24-hour county-wide day of giving, where people can make donations to their favorite nonprofits or peruse new ones. Tuscarora Lapidary Society will be participating in DelcoGives Day. Online donations via the DelcoGives website (www.DelcoGives.org) will be accepted from 7:00 pm May 8 through 7:00 pm on May 9. Donations will also be accepted in person at the TLS Education Center and at the May General Meeting or via mail. All donations accepted from April 1 through May 9 will count towards DelcoGives. A donation box and envelopes will be available at the Ed Center and at the General Meeting.

As part of the DelcoGives celebration, Tuscarora Lapidary Society will be holding an Open House at the Education Center on Friday, May 3 from 5 – 8 pm. Various members will be giving demos of cabbing, faceting, lampworking, and metalsmithing as well as tours of the facility. Donations for TLS on behalf of DelcoGives will be accepted. We welcome members, friends, family and neighbors to attend.
